Dunki OTT Release – Jio Cinema, not Netflix, bought the rights of ‘Dunki’?
Information about the OTT debut of Dunki, starring Taapsee Pannu and Shahrukh Khan, has surfaced. The Siasat Daily story claims that Jio Cinema, not Netflix, is the owner of the movie’s digital rights. Additionally, according to the source, Jio Cinema paid Rs 155 crores for the digital rights to “Dunki.”
Jawan, starring Shahrukh Khan, had its OTT rights previously purchased by Netflix. Because of this, a fresh competition has begun, with Jio Cinema receiving the digital rights to Dunki.
Dunki will defeat Jawan-Pathan too
Dunki will make more money than Jawan and Pathan, according to Jawan’s director Atlee. He claimed that the method works well and gets better with each new movie. He stated that he hopes to outperform Jawan in his upcoming movie.
Atlee praised Shahrukh Khan and stated that he doubts anyone in history will be able to release three films totaling Rs. 1000 crore in a single year. He sent Shahrukh Khan his warmest wishes for the future.
Dunki OTT Release – Digital and satellite rights of ‘Dunki’ sold for so many crores?
Dunki, starring Shahrukh Khan, has had its satellite and digital rights auctioned for a total of Rs 230 crore. On the other hand, official information about OTT rights has not yet been provided.
Dunki is a comedy-action film directed by Rajkumar Hirani. In significant parts in the movie are Shahrukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Dia Mirza, Boman Irani, Dharmendra, Satish Shah, and Parikshit Sahani. The movie will release in theaters on December 23, 2023.
