Subhash Chandra Bose, a child of Janakinath Bose and Prabhavati Bose, was born in Cuttack on January 23, 1879. From childhood, he excelled at education. He earned his philosophy degree.

Ramakrishna Paramahamsa chose to follow Swami Vivekananda's path and become sanyasa. Ramakrishna, who preached patriotism under the slogan of Manavaseve Madhavaseva, carried on.
