Team India then scored 308 runs with 8 wickets to spare in the 50th over. The New Zealand team came out to bat and played a great match. Michael Bracewell scored a magnificent century for New Zealand but Bracewell couldn’t win the match. New Zealand kept their hopes alive, but New Zealand lost the match by 12 runs. New Zealand scored 337 runs over 49.2 runs.
India’s team began a new series after Sri Lanka. After winning the first ODI, India was awarded the second. The next ODI took place on 21 January 2023. The match took place at Raipur’s Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium. The match began with the Indian team winning the toss. They decided to bowl first. The New Zealand team was then allowed to bat in the second ODI. They were all out for 108 runs by the Indian bowlers in 34.3 overs. Glenn Phillips was New Zealand’s top-scoring player with 36 runs in 52 balls. Mohammed Shami took three wickets and scored 18 runs for India in his innings.
