A massive recruitment drive for Junior Engineer (JE) positions has been announced by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC), with a target of 4016 vacancies (2847 vacancies in the original notification and 1169 increased vacancies) across various Uttar Pradesh government departments. The goal of this massive hiring drive is to draw in candidates who have a diploma in civil engineering and provide them a chance to work on state infrastructure projects. The compensation range for successful candidates at 7th Pay Matrix Level 06 is ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400, which is consistent with the important role they will play in reshaping Uttar Pradesh’s physical landscape.

The eligibility age range is 18/21 to 40 years old, with potential exceptions in accordance with U.P. government requirements. A written exam will be used as part of the selection process to find applicants who possess the technical expertise needed to fulfill the various requirements of civil engineering positions in the state.
