According to US media, three US airports were closed Saturday and a Chinese spy balloon was shot off the country’s eastern coast.
According to the Pentagon, the Chinese balloon was about the same size as three buses and had been detected in US airspace. It is believed that the Chinese aircraft has surveillance capabilities.

Joe Biden, the US President, released a brief statement on Saturday stating that “we will look after it.” The Pentagon and White House both stated that the Chinese balloon is not a threat to the safety of the people living on the ground.
