The image of government schools is changing with the ‘Mana Ooru – Mana Badi’ implemented by the state government. Kothagudem Education, February 5: The face of government schools is changing with ‘Mana Ooru – Mana Badi’, which is being launched by the state government. Government schools are taking shape with all the facilities. As part of this, 32 Sarkar schools were started across the district on 1st of this month. Students and their parents are happy with this. Hanuman Basti School is one of the schools started. The government has provided all the facilities in the school with a fund of Rs.13.50 lakhs. Completed major and minor repairs. Toilets and rooms are tiled. Built kitchen sheds. About Rs.4 lakhs was spent for running water. A tank is available for drinking water. Electrification is complete in the school. A playground has been prepared for students to play in a spacious ground in front of the school. Gardening School is a special attraction. Now there is a tough competition to get admissions in this school.

Home of education.. Indiranagar school

Indiranagar School is recognized as a model school in the state. In the school where there were not ten students in the past, now the number of students is 150 which means the credibility of the school can be understood. The management has done the electrification works with funds of Rs.4.77 lakhs without deducting anything from the private schools. Grills for the veranda, wall for the kitchen and support walls were built. Wash basins have been installed in the toilets. Green chart boards are installed on the walls. Dual desks are available for students to sit.

The facilities are good.

I enrolled my daughter in Medarabasti Govt Primary School. Sarkar Badi did not have a good opinion in the past. Teachers don’t come properly…rooms aren’t good…they think. The facilities were meager. But CM KCR has implemented ‘Mana Ooru – Mana Badi’ and is providing all facilities to the students. Children and their parents are very happy with this. Thanks to KCR for making poor people like us who can’t pay thousands of fees believe in government school.
