The government has initiated a reapplication process for this scheme, with two categories eligible for application. Officials associated with the Women and Child Development Department, district program officers, and officers overseeing projects have been directed to establish Ladli Behna Sena in all districts and villages by June 21.
What is Ladli Behna Sena:
In villages with a population of less than 1,500, an assembly of 11 women members will form a group, and in villages with a population exceeding 1,500, a group of 21 women members will be formed, known as Ladli Behna Sena. The following conditions must be met for this:
- At least 50% of the women beneficiaries in this scheme must be between 23 and 60 years of age.
- Women from the self-help groups of the State Rural Livelihood Mission will also be included.
- Each Ladli Behna Sena will have a leader and deputy leader chosen with everyone’s consensus, who will fulfill their responsibilities for a year.
The registration process to form Ladli Behna Sena has started, and the government aims to complete the formation by June 21. To register, visit your nearest Anganwadi Center and fill out the form.
To become a member of Ladli Behna Sena, women must first visit their local Anganwadi Center and register their names. After approvals from various levels, Ladli Behna Sena will be formed.

Madhya Pradesh Ladli Behna Yojana Provides Rs. 1 Shagun
Recent news has indicated that the Madhya Pradesh government has transferred Rs. 1 as a shagun (gift) into the accounts of beneficiaries under the Ladli Behna Yojana. This message would have been received on the mobile phones of all beneficiary women. The government has transferred this money to ensure that the beneficiary receives direct funds into their account and to prevent any kind of fraud. If you have not received the message or the Rs. 1 in your account, there is no need to worry because if you have the approval letter, you will receive the money. However, if the money is still not in your account, it could be due to:
- Your given mobile number not being linked to your bank account, resulting in not receiving the bank’s message.
- Your Aadhaar card not being linked to your bank account, leading to no funds being credited.
- Non-completion of KYC (Know Your Customer) process, which could also prevent funds from being received.
Even if everything is correct, if the money hasn’t arrived in your account, you can go to the relevant office with your documents and register a complaint with the officer. After this, a thorough investigation will be carried out, and you will start receiving the benefits.
No Money Received Due to IIN Mapping in Madhya Pradesh Ladli Behna Yojana
On June 10th, the government transferred money for the Ladli Behna Yojana into the accounts of women, but some accounts did not receive the funds due to IIN mapping issues. After investigation, it was found that even after DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) activation, funds were not reaching the beneficiary’s account due to IIN mapping. Having IIN mapping in your bank account is crucial.
What is IIN Mapping?
Whenever a financial institution issues a credit card, debit card, or any other type of card to its customers, they display the initial 6 to 8 digits of the IIN mapping. Those accounts without this mapping did not receive the benefits.
How to Activate IIN Mapping?
To activate IIN mapping, you need to visit your bank branch and fill out a form that you will receive there. This process is similar to filling out a DBT form.
