For individuals who have been saving a portion of their income in Sahara for years in anticipation of a brighter future, the government has now developed a portal. From there, the depositor can obtain the amount deposited back by requesting the Sahara India Refund Process.

The Government of India and CRCS will work together to refund the depositor’s funds. Within 45 days of depositor registration on the Refund portal, Sahara will reimburse Rs 5,000 crore to the legitimate depositors of Sahara Group cooperative societies.
